Esper Agent Version: 9.3.2737
New Features
- We’ve added ignore, always apply, and provision only settings to iOS SSIDs in a blueprint. You can now specify whether or not you want access networks applied to the device every time you converge (always) or if you want these settings ignored (meaning even if the device converges, the Wi-Fi command isn’t sent to the device).
- You can now preview files in Android File Manager. During a File Manager session, click on the Actions button for a supported file to preview the file in a new tab. Save time with file management by viewing these files in the browser instead of downloading them.
-
Esper Agent Updates:
- Added a feature to enable/disable multi-window mode on Samsung devices.
- Fixed an issue where the device tried to register itself multiple times during onboarding.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Resolved an issue where the device count displayed within groups did not match the actual number of assigned devices. In some cases, the total device count was correct, but the group-level count showed fewer devices. Group views now accurately reflect all devices assigned to the group.
- Resolved an issue where the Remote Viewer would report a screenshot capture had failed even after it had been successful.
- Resolved an issue where emailed alerts did not render properly on iPhones.
- We fixed an issue on some devices where the phone dialer was able to be launched even while the device was in kiosk mode.
- We've updated how permissions work for Linux and Windows devices during Remote Viewer sessions. Now, users with the Viewer or Group Viewer role will only have view access during a session. We've made this change to be consistent with Android Remote View behavior.
