Dates: August 4, 2025
Esper Agent Version: 8.8.1628
Updated: August 5, 2025
New Features
- You can now converge at scale. Previously, converge actions were limited to 999 devices. There is no longer a fixed upper limit. With this improvement, we’ve made converge operations more scalable and observable. In addition to the event feed, you can now track converge operations holistically using the Activity Feed. Converge at scale will be rolling out during the months of August and September 2025. Check back later if you don’t see it in your console. Learn more in Converge FAQs.
-
We’ve added a scope in User Management > Custom Roles to remove Linux devices at the group level. In addition, you can now add a scope to see the provisioner package in Linux provisioning methods. Linux is currently in beta.
- We've made it easier to manage payments for self-serve customers. You can also change your plan and payment details and methods without Esper intervention. See the new payment workflows in Plans and Billing.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- We fixed an issue related to device timezone errors in the UI, which affected the Send Message command for Android devices.
- We fixed an issue where the Seamless Provisioning screen wouldn’t appear for Linux devices when accessed from the Devices & Groups page.
- We’ve added a confirmation message for the shutdown button in iOS device actions.
- We’ve made two updates to the Partner Control Center:
- Linux and iOS devices are now included in the total device count for tenants.
- We’ve made it possible to filter by device OS.
- Esper Agent improvements:
- Made the Esper Agent compatible with Lenovo CCS provisioning for the TB352FU model.
