Esper Agent Version: 8.03.0938
Updated: Apr 17, 2025
New Features
- Device Report Beta: Introducing new device reports. See details about your devices including their state, OS version, and more. You’ll now be able to see device details such as Esper Agent Version, OS Build Version, Last Known Latitude, and Longitude information. We will be rolling this feature out in an open beta over the coming weeks, so look for it in your console soon.
- New filter in Reports: There is a new filter in Device Apps Report filter called Platform. We’ve decided to replace the Device OS filter to have more consistency throughout the console. You should see the new filter soon in App and Device reports.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- We’ve made an improvement to an error in the Event Feed. When a user tries to set a kiosk app to Hide or Disable, there will now be more information about how to fix this error.
- We fixed an issue where some devices were not able to be switched to the Chinese language. You'll now be able to correctly switch devices to the Chinese language.
- We fixed an issue where some iOS devices would exit kiosk mode after a reboot. Devices will now remain in kiosk mode even after a reboot (or restart, as it's called on Apple devices.)
- We fixed an issue where the CSV file downloaded from the Devices & Groups page would sometimes show devices that weren’t assigned to a blueprint even when the correct filter was applied. You’ll now see only the devices assigned to that blueprint when downloading a CSV file.
- We fixed an issue for the Partner Control Center where the User Management section incorrectly paginated.
We’re excited to launch DevRel 161 over the coming days, and the Esper team is hard at work on the next release. Please contact Esper Support to share your thoughts on how Esper can improve future releases.
