Esper Agent Version: 7.18.1175
New Features
-
EAP Wi-Fi Support: We’ve added new fields for EAP Wi-Fi support for Android 13+ devices. You can now add a Root CA certificate file path, Domain Name, and certificate file password. With this addition, we now support the following EAP methods:
- PEAP (MSCHAPv2 and GTC)
- TLS
- TTLS (PAP, MSCHAP, MSCHAPv2, and GTC)
- PWD
- SIM, AKA, AKA_PRIME (SIM-based methods may require manufacturer support)
Now available for Android devices on Esper Agent version 7.18.1175.
- iOS Web Filtering: We’ve added support for web content filtering for iOS devices through a blueprint. You can now create an allowlist or denylist for up to 100 URLs in the Platform Services section. Enter URLs or create a CSV file for bulk uploads.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Support Ticket Permissions: We’ve added the ability to create and view Support tickets to Custom Roles. Allow or restrict access to Support tickets for users. For example, your organization might have a ticketing system that users can use for support with Esper. If your organization doesn’t have a ticketing system we recommend allowing access to Support Tickets.
- Scheduled Commands: We fixed an issue where scheduled commands would fail for users in certain time zones. Now users can schedule commands no matter their time zone.
- Expired Downloads: Fixed a rare issue that caused a “Download failed: unexpected end of stream” error. This happened because a download URL would expire before the device could install the app.
We’re excited to launch DevRel 146 over the coming days, and the Esper team is hard at work on the next release. Please contact Esper Support to share your thoughts on how Esper can improve future releases.
