Dates: June 20, 2024 - June 25, 2024
Esper Agent Version: 7.18.0896
New Features
- We’ll begin rolling out Remote Viewer for newly-provisioned iOS devices to selected tenants. If you had at least one provisioned iOS device on your tenant before this release, we’ll start to enable iOS Remote Viewer. All newly provisioned iOS devices will have this feature. And don’t worry about existing iOS devices. We’ll start enabling this capability soon. Learn more about how to start an iOS Remote Viewer session.
- We’ve added new scopes to User Management > Custom Roles. Users you choose can now create new groups, add or remove a blueprint from a group, and provision a device.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- You can now see tags when adding applications to a blueprint. So now, if you’ve tagged your application after you’ve uploaded it, you can easily see it in the blueprint.
- We’ve fixed an issue that affected QR code visibility in Provisioning Methods. This only affected some tenants.
- We’ve fixed an issue with the Esper CLI where two groups with similar names would only allow the first group in the list to be active at a time.
- We’ve addressed an issue where the response wasn’t easily understood. Now, when you call the API, you’ll see if the device is in Kiosk Mode or Multi app mode.
We’re excited to launch DevRel 140 over the coming days, and the Esper team is hard at work on the next release. Please contact Esper Support to share your thoughts on how Esper can improve future releases.
