Esper Agent Version: 7.17.0495
New Features
- You can now fully customize columns in Devices & Groups. Previously, there were about 10 mandatory columns. Now, only the Device ID column is required. Choose from 27 columns and create a device list view that works for you. Here’s what you can do:
- Use the Select All checkbox to quickly select all columns.
- Use the Default button to go back to the 10 default columns.
- Build a device view list based on tags, serial number, Last Seen date, location, blueprint, and more.
Since column selection is unique to all users, you don’t have to worry about changing someone else’s view. Plus, existing configurations will remain the same until you change them. Best of all, the columns you select will persist throughout sessions. To start customizing, go to Devices & Groups and press Views > Customize List View.
- You can now upload wallpapers to a blueprint for iOS devices. Customize your device fleet with a branded background. We’ve attached a wallpaper with different resolutions so you can start playing around with it right away. Check out our sample wallpaper attached to this article.
Note: Two issues affect iOS 16 and 17 devices. If you notice that your wallpaper isn’t applying, try restarting the device and converging it to the blueprint again. Both lock and home screen will have the same wallpaper the first time they’re set, and you can separate them afterward.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- We’ve made it so devices in the registered state aren’t clickable in Devices & Groups and Pipelines. Previously, they were clickable for Pipelines.
- We’ve made it so you can filter by multiple tags for your Android and iOS devices.
- We fixed a recent issue where the blueprint field would clear after selecting a group in Provisioning Methods. Now, the blueprints field will change only if a blueprint is linked to a group.
- We fixed an issue where drift values didn’t reflect accurately without a refresh. Now, you won’t need to refresh the page to see accurate drift values.
We’re excited to launch DevRel 137 over the coming days, and the Esper team is hard at work on the next release. Please contact Esper Support to share your thoughts on how Esper can improve future releases.
