How to Switch Views
You can switch between Basic View and Advanced View at any time from your profile settings.

- Under Devices & Groups View, select Advanced View.
- Your preference is saved automatically.
To switch back, return to the same section and select Basic View.
What's Different in Advanced View
Advanced View includes everything in Basic View, plus additional capabilities for managing larger fleets.

Column customization
In Basic View, you can add columns via Views > Customize List View. Advanced View expands on this with Actions > Customize List, which adds the ability to drag and drop columns to reorder them, freeze up to three columns so they stay visible when scrolling horizontally, and resize column widths by dragging the column edge in the header row.
Selecting devices across pages
In Basic View, selections reset when you navigate between pages. In Advanced View, selections persist across pages, making it easier to act on devices spread across a large list. You can also select all devices across the entire directory — not just the current page — and perform bulk actions on them. Note that for lists of 999 or more devices, only the Converge action is currently supported.
Group navigation
Advanced View adds a dedicated Groups mode with a toggle to switch between viewing a group's devices and its subgroups. A breadcrumb menu lets you navigate up and down the group hierarchy without losing your place. The purple bar at the top of the list shows the number of devices and subgroups in the selected group at a glance.
What Stays the Same
The core directory columns are identical in both views: Device ID, Alias, Group Name, Last Seen, Last Seen Timestamp, Blueprint, In Drift, and OS Platform. You can continue to perform device and group actions from their respective pages as well.
