The Windows Remote Terminal lets you interact with a Windows device's command line remotely, and transfer files to and from the device, directly from the Esper console.
Use it to run commands, check device state, or move files without needing physical or Remote Viewer access to the device.
Notes:
- The terminal runs as the default system user (SYSTEM). All commands are executed at the highest privilege. Use User Management > Custom Roles > Device Remote Terminal to manage user access.
- The terminal uses PowerShell 5.1 by default. This version does not require any additional installation on the device.
