Managing Windows devices with the Esper Console enables you to deploy, monitor, and control your Windows fleet from the same unified platform used to manage Android, iOS, and Linux devices. With blueprint-based configurations, script execution, and remote management tools, Esper provides a single pane of glass for enterprise-scale Windows device management.
Requirements
Esper supports the following Windows operating systems:
- Windows 10 (Pro or Enterprise)
- Windows 11 (Pro or Enterprise)
Ensure that supported devices meet your organization’s network and security requirements before onboarding.
Setting Up the Console
Before provisioning Windows devices, ensure that all required firewall rules are applied to your network so devices can communicate with the Esper cloud services.
Windows Management
Esper supports sending Command Prompt–based scripts to Windows devices, allowing administrators to automate workflows, install software, or execute system-level commands when needed. At the same time, Windows blueprints provide built-in settings that reduce the need for scripting altogether.
Using blueprints, administrators can manage:
- Application installations
- Display brightness
- Windows update settings
- Wallpaper configuration
- Wi-Fi access point settings
- And more.
In addition, administrators can trigger actions directly from the Devices & Groups page, enabling device-level and group-level management without requiring manual script execution.
Step 1: Set up a blueprint
Create a blueprint to define how Windows devices should be configured during provisioning and throughout their lifecycle. Blueprints includes:
- Command Prompt scripts
- App installation and Wi-Fi configuration
- System and user experience settings
- Policy-based configurations

Step 2: Provision the device
Windows devices are provisioned using Deep Link enrollment, which streamlines onboarding and ensures devices are provisioned.

Step 3: Manage the Windows device
Once provisioned, Windows devices can be managed individually or at scale from the Esper Console:
- Start a Remote Viewer session to access the device interface and command prompt
- Send reboot commands, scripts, and more from the Devices & Groups page
- Apply blueprints to individual devices or groups
- Monitor and manage devices from a centralized dashboard
