Esper Launcher branding not visible in Blueprint UI — disable via backend tenant-level configuration
Android
If the Esper branding is not visible in the Esper Launcher customization options within your Blueprint settings, you may be on a trial account where this feature is restricted. This article explains how to remove Esper branding from the Launcher on your devices, either through the Esper Console UI or by contacting Esper Support.
Before you begin
The availability of the "Disable Esper Branding" toggle depends on your account tier:
- Paid accounts: The toggle is available in the Blueprint console UI under Blueprints → [Blueprint Name] → Display & Branding → Esper Launcher customization.
- Trial accounts: The toggle may not be visible in the Esper Console. You'll need to contact Esper Support to have the branding removed.
Before proceeding, decide whether you want to disable Esper branding for:
- A single device (you'll need the Device ID)
- All devices on your entire tenant
How to disable Esper branding via the Esper Console (paid accounts)
- In the Esper Console, navigate to Blueprints.
- Open the Blueprint assigned to your target device or device group.
- Select Display & Branding.
- Locate the Esper Launcher customization section and toggle Disable Esper Branding to the off position.
- Click Save, then Publish the Blueprint.
- Apply the Blueprint to your devices by selecting Converge.
- Wait for the devices to sync. You can check the convergence status in Devices & Groups → [Device Name] → Blueprint.
- Verify on your device that the Esper branding no longer appears in the Launcher.
How to disable Esper branding for trial accounts
If you're on a trial account and the "Disable Esper Branding" toggle is not visible in your console, contact Esper Support to have the branding removed for you.
When you submit your request, include:
- Your tenant ID
- Whether the change applies to a single device (and the Device ID) or your entire tenant
- Confirmation that you want Esper branding disabled from the Launcher
Esper Support will apply the configuration change on the backend. Once the change is confirmed, verify that the Esper branding has been removed from your Launcher.
What if the branding is still visible after making changes?
- Console UI path (paid accounts): Verify that your Blueprint has converged successfully by checking Devices & Groups → [Device Name] → Blueprint. Confirm the latest converge status shows success.
- After a backend configuration change (trial accounts): Ensure your device is online and reachable. The configuration change may require the device to sync. Try manually pinging or restarting the device from the Esper Console to trigger re-synchronization. In the Esper Console, select your device and click Ping or Restart.
- Paid account but toggle still not visible: Take a screenshot of the Display & Branding section and contact Esper Support. This may indicate a permissions or entitlement misconfiguration on your account.
Important notes
- This setting applies only to the Esper Launcher. If you've deployed a custom or third-party launcher via Blueprint, this setting will not affect it.
- When requesting a backend configuration change, always specify whether the change should apply to a single device or your entire tenant. Esper Support needs this information to apply the configuration correctly.
Still need help?
If you're unable to locate the branding toggle on a paid account, or if the branding persists after applying changes contact Esper Support. Include your tenant ID, the Device ID (if applicable), and a screenshot of the Display & Branding section if available.
