SSO provider support: Entra ID (Azure AD) not supported — Okta is the only supported SSO provider

Esper currently supports Okta as the only single sign-on (SSO) provider for the Esper Console. Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) is not supported at this time. This article explains your SSO options.

Supported SSO providers

Okta is the only SSO identity provider currently supported for Esper Console authentication. If you need to use Microsoft Entra ID for your organization's identity management, you cannot configure SSO with Esper at this time using Entra ID.

Why Entra ID is not supported

Microsoft Entra ID has not been integrated into Esper's authentication layer. This is a product limitation, not a configuration issue or documentation gap. No configuration steps can enable Entra ID SSO on the Esper platform today.

What you can do now

• Use Okta: If your organization uses or can adopt Okta, you can configure SSO with Esper. See the Esper Help Center for SSO and Okta configuration steps.
• Request Entra ID support: If Entra ID integration is important for your deployment, contact Esper Support to submit a feature request. Include details about your use case and deployment timeline.
• Continue without SSO: You can use standard console authentication with username and password while you evaluate your options.
