Storage-based alerting is not currently available in Esper's Alerts feature. This article explains what you can do if you need to monitor device storage and set up notifications based on storage thresholds.

What storage alerts are not available

Esper's Alerts feature does not currently support storage capacity thresholds as a trigger condition. You cannot configure alerts to notify you when a device's storage reaches a certain level (for example, when storage falls below 10% available).

The Alerts feature supports event-based triggers such as device offline or app crash events, but does not include hardware resource thresholds like storage, battery, or RAM.

How to check alert options

In the Esper Console, go to Alerts in the left navigation panel.
Review the available trigger options to confirm that storage-based alerts are not listed.

How to monitor device storage

While automated storage alerts are not available, you can still monitor storage metrics manually:

View storage data in the Esper Console: Go to the individual device view and check the Device Telemetry section to see current storage usage for any device.
Use the Esper API: If you have development resources, you can query device telemetry and storage data programmatically through the Esper API and build custom alerting on top of it. Contact Esper Support if you need guidance on API integration.
