Devices & Groups list view: column visibility is managed via the Actions menu, not Filters
Android
Title: Devices & Groups list view — customize columns via the Actions menuWhen customizing the Devices & Groups list view, the controls for showing and hiding columns are located in the Actions menu, not in the Filters panel where you might expect to find them.
Why this happens
Column visibility is a display preference rather than a filtering operation, so Esper separates it from the Filters panel. The Actions menu consolidates table-level display controls, including which columns are visible, in one place.
How to customize column visibility
- Navigate to Devices & Groups in the Esper Console and confirm you are in the list view, not the tile view.
- Locate the Actions menu in the top-right area of the device table.
- Click Actions to expand the menu. Column visibility controls appear alongside other table-level options.
- Check or uncheck individual columns to show or hide them. Changes take effect immediately in the table.
- Navigate away and return to Devices & Groups to confirm your column preferences have persisted for future sessions.
Notes on column sorting
Not all columns in the Devices & Groups list view support sorting. If a column header does not respond to a click, sorting is not available for that column. Use the Filters panel to narrow results as an alternative when sorting is unavailable.
If this doesn't resolve it
If the Actions menu does not show column visibility controls, or your column preferences are not persisting between sessions, contact Esper Support. Include the following information to help with the investigation:
- Browser name and version
- A screenshot of the Actions menu as it appears on your screen
- Whether the issue occurs in a different browser or an incognito window
Still need help?
If the steps above don't resolve the issue, submit a support ticket with your device model, Android version, Esper Agent version, and a description of what you've already tried — this helps the support team investigate without a follow-up.
